ALL DAY NATION’S CAPITAL RIDE

Cost: $120 US per person lunch included

The nation’s capital is only about three miles from Banana Bank by horseback.  The ride will start by swimming the horses across the Belize River.  There is an outstanding gift shop to visit on the way.

You will then find yourself on the outskirts of Belmopan, the capital city.  This provides a unique way to see the Capital Complex of Belize, the local markets, ride around the “Belt Way” otherwise known as the Ring Road, then ride down Embassy Row and see the impressive American Embassy.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant with local Belizean dishes.  The trip back to Banana Bank will take you through the thriving village of Roaring Creek, past local village life and across the Belize River on the Agrapino Cowich bridge.  You will take a short trip past Global Outreach boys school and then across Tiger Creek and through the jungle back to Banana Bank Lodge.
