Belize All-Inclusive Vacation Package Deals

Banana Bank Lodge helps make your Belize vacation planning easier by offering a variety of all-inclusive vacation packages which cover the cost of meals, transfers, guides, fees and taxes (alcoholic beverages and gratuities are not included). Pay one fee and we handle the rest! Other guest may be included on some of our tours but we can arrange a private tour for you at an additional $150.00 per tour. For families, we offer a discount for children 11 years old and younger.

What type of All-Inclusive Vacation Package are you looking for?

Day 1
We will meet you at the Municipal or International Airport and transfer you to the lodge. If you have an early arrival coming from Belize City or International Airport we can take a side trip to the zoo (entry fee not included). If arrival to is before 2:00pm, a short horseback can be arranged upon request. Dinner and lodging in the thatched roof cabana or standard air-conditioned room. You have free time to wander around the properly before dinner around 7:00 pm.

Day 2
After breakfast enjoy a half-day jungle horseback ride and half-day Cayo West Tour. Explore the vast area of the 200 acre farm with agricultural fields, tree farms, cattle grazing, and horse pastures. Cross small streams, canter on jungle paths and swim with the horses in the Belize River. After lunch, visit either Xunantunich or Cahal Pech.
For those interested in a little less riding and more sightseeing – you can do the full day Cayo West Tour: The day starts with a visit to either Xunantunich or Cahal Pech. Each of these are unique sites and choosing which to visit is difficult as all are equally impressive. Your guide then takes you to have a wonderful lunch and shopping in San Ignacio or you may wish to visit the Butterfly Farm or the Mennonite settlement known as Spanish Lookout.

Day 3
Today you can choose all day riding ,which can be divided into a morning ride and afternoon ride with coming back to the lodge for lunch, or you can take your lunch with you picnic-style and enjoy all day out on the longer trails.
Or you may even wish to only do a half day of riding and spend the other half of the day on the Belize River by boat or river tubing. Meander down the Belize River with our tour guide pointing out  plants and wildlife (birds, iguanas, otters, howler monkeys, etc.).
In the evening, join the rest of the guests at dinner time and share all the day’s adventures. Get a good rest and early bedtime because tomorrow is a big day! BLD

Day 4
After an early breakfast, we head for either Tikal or Caracol. To visit Tikal we cross the Guatemalan border and head for the largest Maya site in Central America. Your English speaking guide will lead you through the 5 major temples built around 700 AD. (We must have a minimum of 3 for the Tikal tour). Caracol is located in the Mountain Pine Ridge area of Belize. It is the largest site in Belize and you will learn of CAANA (Sky House) and the important role of it’s King Lord Can ll. Caracol is credited with the conquest of Tikal and Narajo. (Minimum of 3 for Caracol tour) BLD
Or more riding and exploring the jungle on the Howler Monkey Trail, Tiger Creek Trail, and Devil Dip Trail. These trails span over the 4000 acres and let you experience the beauty of the jungle as well as open fields and teak plantations.

Day 5
After breakfast we take you to your next destination or back to International Airport for your flight home and if requested, you can visit the Belize Zoo (entry fee not included: $50USpp). See Kinkajous, Monkeys, Ocelots, Peccary, Tapirs, Birds including the Jabiru Stork, and many other exotic native animals of Belize.

Day 1: Saturday
You will be met outside Belize Customs and Immigration at International Airport by a driver holding a sign with your name and our logo on it.  Times may vary depending on flight plans.  Stop at the Belize Zoo on day of arrival or departure, depending on your schedule. You will arrive at the accommodations after your long day’s journey, relax and decompress to the sounds, smells, and views of our jungle valley before having a lamp-lit dinner with your hosts and retiring to your cabana for the night.

Day 2: Sunday
After breakfast, you will receive an introduction to your horse and orientation for a full day of riding to the Big Rock Falls in the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. The trail winds through varied ecosystems and terrain while your guide points out features and explains traditional uses of rainforest plants. Enjoy a gourmet lunch and swimming at the beautiful waterfalls, relax awhile and then mount the horses for a rejuvenating ride home.  Those going by vehicle can relax awhile longer on the grounds before driving to Barton Creek.  Return to your Cabana to freshen up for dinner and lively conversation with your hosts and other guests.

Day 3: Monday
Another full day of horseback riding to Nohoch Sayab River cave at Barton Creek. The trail meanders through a village of Siete Millas, or El Progresso, where refugees from Guatemala and El Salvador are living. The trail then passes through a Mennonite community where you can observe ancient farming practices such as horse-drawn buggies, plows, and mills. As you make your way down the steep narrow road to the valley floor, you will be astounded by the size of fruit trees and tropical flora in the fertile Barton Creek valley. Arriving at Barton Creek Outpost, you will step into a canoe, and paddle upstream from the opening in the shade of a huge vine covered limestone cliff, then suddenly disappear, paddling deep into the sparking stalactite formation river cave. When you return to the mouth of the cave, enjoy a swim and a delicious lunch before returning to your accommodations.

Day 4: Tuesday
This day begins with a in a beautiful half-day horseback ride followed by lunch in the Cantina and then a vehicle tour to visit the Maya ruins of Cahal Pech and do some shopping in San Ignacio. The destination for the half-day ride is a secluded hidden valley where you will ride along a winding creek and enjoy the exotic tropical vegetation and excellent opportunities for sighting colorful rainforest birds and iridescent butterflies. After lunch back at the Cantina, board the vehicle for a drive into San Ignacio to tour the fascinating ruins of Cahal Pech. There are opportunities for shopping and experiencing the ambience of the lovely town of San Ignacio at the confluence of the Mopan and Macal Rivers where they merge into the Belize River. You will return to your accommodations for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 5: Wednesday
A full day of horseback riding, exploring Swallow Cave, lunch and a swim at Butterfly Falls. This ride features exploration of an ancient Mayan cave. Beside the interesting formations, you will see evidence of the Mayan culture in pottery remnants and potsherds. After the cave, refresh yourself with a cool dip in the crystal clear waters of Butterfly Falls and feast on yet a different gourmet lunch. Continue the adventure on the return trip keeping an eye out for a possible wild-life sighting. Dinner and overnight at your accommodations.

Day 6: Thursday
After breakfast, say goodbye to your hosts and return to Belize City or the Belize International Airport.

TRAIL BLAZER - 8 days / 7 nights

Saturday to Saturday-All Inclusive (Starting day other than Saturday can be arranged)

Day 1: We will meet you at the airport ***Arrival to Banana Bank****After check-in, you can tour the grounds and get acquainted with our own horses and wildlife. Soon dinner will be served family style, providing perfect time and setting to meet your hosts and the other guests.

Day 2: Horse enrichment connection-Horse introduction and learning about a trust relationship between you and your horse – groom, saddle and mount – 3 hour introductory  trail ride including checking the cattle –wash, feed, and unsaddle . The day starts at 9 Am and ends at 4:30- your option.

Day 3: Saddle up for a morning ride to Tiger Creek, our wrangler will provide tips and pointers as you ride the trail. After lunch we will head 35 miles to Xunantunich, the most famous and visited Maya Temple in Belize.

Day 4: We’ll start with some work in the round pen and you will be connecting with your horse in a special way. Then off to the 3 Sisters Maya Temple (undeveloped –named by Banana Bank) for an all day ride where you will unsaddle- have lunch and then ride back to Banana Bank.

The larger Maya home/ ceremonial site on Banana Bank Ranch- supposedly the three Mayan sisters reigned and ruled over some 5 thousand Maya Indians, who were scattered all over Banana Bank. Inhabited in approximately — 750 AD – 850 AD.


Day 5: Saddle up for trail ride checks the cattle and Horses. Then we will head for the arena to do barrel racing, pole bending and other Gymkhana events – you may have never done this before and we don’t generally use a watch. Afternoon we go to the beautiful Hummingbird Highway – chocolate growing and tasting exhibit and then special ice cream and swim in the beautiful inland Blue Hole.

Day 6: For a change in pace, we will board the boat at the Cawich Bridge where you’ll be guided along the Belize River. I will be wonderful river trip where we usually see howler monkeys, bats, beautiful trees and multitude of birds. Iguanas dart along the paths and scamper up the trees while you observe hundreds of botanic wonders. After lunch back at the dining room, and an afternoon of relaxation we’ll saddle up for an evening ride.

Day 7: Swim our horses across the Belize River and do lunch during the Belmopan Market Tour (Belmopan smallest capital in the world) then out toward Roaring River with caves and spend a little time with your horse in the water – back to Banana Bank at 4:00-4:30.

Day 8: In case you didn’t get enough riding in, you may choose to do a short aloha ride (we hate to say goodbye). If there’s time you can stop for a tour at the Belize Zoo on the way back.
