1. Driving to the Lodge 2. Park & Take the Boat Across
1. - * Best for people with luggage
To drive right onto the Banana Bank Lodge grounds follow the signs from the Roaring Creek cut-off.
  
Sign 1, is at mile 49 which is the west side of Roaring Creek Village on the Western Highway. If you are coming from Belize City this sign will be on your right. Coming from San Ignacio the sign is on your left. If you are coming along the Hummingbird Highway as you approach Belmopan, continue straight through the round-about until you reach the Guanacaste Park junction. Turn left onto the Western Highway and this will take you through Roaring Creek Village. Turn right at the sign (mile 49). Follow this road to the bridge (about one mile), cross the bridge and continue until you reach a sharp left turn in the road. Here you will see another smaller sign pointing to the left.
  
Continue down the road for approximately 2 miles. On the right you'll see another sign and a Mayan stelae that says Banana Bank. Turn right here. Follow the road past the gate-house and you'll find one more sign where the road splits. Keep going straight until the orange grove ends, then go left. Just around the next bend you'll be in the parking area and very close to the office.
2. - * Best if you're visiting for the day
To park across the river and take the boat to the grounds, follow the signs from Mile 47
  
Our sign - a Mayan stelae, is at mile 47 at the entrance to Banana Bank Road. If you're coming from Belize City the turn-off to Banana Bank will be as in picture # 1. Turn right here. If you are travelling along the Hummingbird Highway, as you approach Belmopan, continue straight through the round-about until you reach the Guanacaste Park junction, then turn right. The turn-off to Banana Bank will be as in picture # 2. Turn left here. The first split in the road is well marked. Keep to the right.
  
Continue down the road and you will see another sharp turn with no signs as in picture # 4. Keep to the right and continue for about a 1/2 mile where you will come to the end of the road. Park anywhere in this area making sure not to block anyone in. You'll find a gong where the road ends. Bang on the gong to summon the boat, then walk down the stairs. Your captain will be with you shortly.
