Often surrounded by a mist covering, these jungle trails cross
the Caves Branch River and rise high into the Maya Mountains. In a setting seen by only a few, our sure-footed horses will take you deep into the forest for an adventure of a lifetime. These beautiful mountains, meandering streams, colossal trees, rock walls, Maya remnants all in a rainforest atmosphere, experienced with your horse will stir the heart of the jungle explorer within.A half day or 2.5 to 3 hour ride starts at 9:30 AM or 1:30 PM. Full day rides including lunch start at 9:30.
We will soon be offering 3 day or 5 day overnight jungle rides for the more adventurous. You'll sleep out on a bed of palm fronds and enjoy camp style cooking like a pioneer, right on the trail.
The trails are conveniently located on the Hummingbird Highway by the Blue Hole National Park, only 12 miles south of Belmopan.
